Sprouts: Terms of Use and Privacy

Version 2026-10-09. This page is linked from the Welcome screen and from Settings, and you accept it when you sign in.

What Sprouts is

Sprouts is an app for Solana Mobile phones. It rounds up every swap your linked wallets make and plants the spare change once a day into SKR staking, stORE, hSOL, cbBTC, and USDC and SOL lending at Kamino or Jupiter Lend. Your own split decides where it goes, or the Yield Manager tunes the split when you turn it on. Everything lands in your own wallet and shows as a painted garden.

Sprouts is not a bank

Sprouts is not a bank and not an exchange. Your garden is not a deposit. It is not insured by any government or private scheme. Nothing in Sprouts guarantees a return. Rates change and can fall to zero. The dollar value of your garden can be lower than what you put in.

Who can use Sprouts

You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. You must be allowed to use services like this where you live. You need a Solana Mobile phone (Seeker or Saga) that holds a Genesis Token. One account per phone. Some venues restrict some places. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you where you live, including tax on anything your garden earns.

Your money stays in your wallet

Sprouts never takes custody of your savings, except the small remainders described below. Your SKR is staked in Solana Mobile's staking program under your phone's key. Your stORE, hSOL and cbBTC sit in your own wallet, not locked. Your lending positions are receipts held by your own wallet at Kamino or Jupiter Lend. Sprouts cannot sell, move or withdraw any of it.

Small remainders from rounding and swaps can sit in the shared planting account until your next planting of that coin. They are credited to you and added to that planting.

When you link a wallet, you give Sprouts a daily limit of $5 in USDC, which our server pulls to plant your round-up. You can set a lower limit in the app. Our server keeps to it. The limit on chain stays $5.

New links go through the Sprouts program on Solana (the leash). It gives a stronger promise: "Even if our server is hacked, it can only move your daily round-up (max $5) into your own savings. Never anywhere else."

The precise rule: once your wallet is on the leash, Sprouts' server can only pull through the Sprouts program: at most your $5 daily limit, and only in a transaction that leaves at least 98.5% of that value (99.9% for USDC lending), at a live Pyth price where the coin has one (USDC lending is valued at $1 against the venue's own rate), in the coins Sprouts has enabled, lending positions or SKR stake. Otherwise the transaction reverts. The server still chooses when, which coin and how much up to the limit. Only Sprouts' admin key, which is never on our server, can change these rules or replace the program. Your $5-a-day limit still holds.

What linking a wallet authorises

Linking grants an on-chain allowance to pull at most $5 per day in USDC from that wallet. A new link grants it through the Sprouts program, which enforces the rule above on chain. You can pause a wallet in Settings at any time, and you can revoke the allowance on chain at any time. Revoking ends Sprouts' approval. Nothing in your garden moves.

Wallets linked before the leash went live keep their old allowance on chain. It is granted to our server directly, with no program in between. It stays until you re-link or revoke it. Those old links no longer plant. The app asks you to re-link to keep planting.

If your wallet cannot cover all the waiting change, Sprouts plants the round-ups it covers, oldest first. The rest wait for a top-up. A wallet too low for the smallest planting is paused, and it resumes on its own once it can cover one again. A pause you make yourself stays until you resume it.

Taking money out

You can withdraw any time. You sign every withdrawal on your phone.

The Yield Manager

Each planting buys one coin: the one furthest below its share of your split. Over time your garden moves toward your split. Your first plantings can all go to one coin. A coin can be switched off for a while.

The Yield Manager is optional. When it is off, you set your own split. When it is on, it is automated software: once a day it reads live lending rates and tunes your split inside limits you set and limits in code. Sprouts routes new USDC and SOL lending to the best eligible venue. Once your lending money reaches $20, new money goes to a venue only if that keeps it at or under 60% of your lending. The coin list is fixed in code. The manager never sets the amount and never sells anything you hold.

Sprouts is not financial advice, not investment advice and not tax advice. Nothing in the app is a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. Tax reports are a record for your tax tool, not a filing.

Risks

Fees

Sprouts takes 0.5% of each SKR, stORE, hSOL and cbBTC planting, in USDC, inside the swap. Lending plantings carry no Sprouts fee: nothing on USDC or SOL lending, interest or withdrawals. Sprouts pays the Solana network fee for each planting. Withdrawals you sign carry the usual small Solana network fee (about $0.001). Sprouts pays the small one-time account rent for the coin and lending receipt accounts in your wallet.

Pro covers the Yield Manager, automatic lending and tax reports. All three are included free during launch. If Pro becomes paid, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before. If you do not subscribe, the manager turns off and new round-ups go to your coins; your lending positions stay yours, keep earning and can be withdrawn at any time.

Data we keep

We store your Seed Vault public key, your linked wallet addresses, your Genesis Token mint, the swap records used to compute your round-ups, your plantings, your withdrawals, your settings, your sign-in sessions and an activity log. We never see or store your private keys or seed phrases. Your phone's signatures happen inside its Seed Vault. Our server's planting key signs the daily pulls, within the limits above.

Rules you type in plain English are sent to our AI provider to turn them into settings.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers. To delete your data: revoke your wallets in Settings, then contact us and we delete your account and records.

If Sprouts shuts down

If Sprouts shuts down, planting stops. Everything in your garden stays in your own wallet. You can revoke the allowance on chain at any time. You can unstake SKR and withdraw lending with your own wallet, through the staking program and the venues directly, without Sprouts. After the 48 hours you send the final SKR step yourself.

Liability and governing law

To be completed: the parts in brackets are not final yet.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Sprouts will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules, seated in California; you waive any right to take part in a class action. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court.

To the extent the law allows, Sprouts is not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by software or services we do not run, including Kamino, Jupiter, Pyth, Solana Mobile's staking program and the Solana network. Its total liability to you is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

If we change this page, we bump the version string at the top and show the new version in the app before it applies. Continuing to use Sprouts after that means you accept the new terms.
